Lucellum Ltd was founded by Christine Velen Game in 2018.

With over 15 years specialist experience in UX and User Research, Christine has an expansive range of experience working with a range of different private and public sector organisations on all stages of a project ranging from discovery through to product design and delivery in Agile teams.
Managing & mentoring to help others grow their UX research skills, Christine is passionate about helping organisations deliver digital products and services centred around deep understanding of users.

With a background in Psychology (B.Sc. Hons) she has grown and refined her user research skills, working collaboratively with designers and product teams all over the world.

OK ...but what is the meaning behind the name Lucellum?
The word Lucellum was chosen as a tribute to my grandfather that I never knew.
Edvin Per Velen was born in Malmo, Sweden. He joined the British Merchant Navy war effort serving on one of their ships; the MV Lucellum.
On 19 December 1941, the MV Lucellum was bombed by a German aircraft whilst part of a coastal convoy en-route from Belfast to Swansea"killing eight men outright and burning fiercely"
My grandfather was post-humously awarded a British Empire Medal for his bravery.
The ship, though damaged, continued to survive until it was broken up in 1961
His son, my father, went on to serve with the Merchant Navy for 40 years.
